A Peloton of One is a full-length, documentary film that follows the journey of Dave Ohlmuller as he cycles alone, from Chicago, IL, to Montclair, NJ.

Sexually abused when he was 12 years old, Dave rides to bring awareness of and to inspire action against the Statute of Limitations laws (SOL) as they relate to child abuse cases. Laws that are currently being debated and voted upon in key states across America. Laws that are as antiquated as they are unjust. Laws that serve to silence the victimized and empower the predators.

Along Dave’s journey, he stopped in select cities of battleground states such as Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. New York is one of the most controversial states where you only have until the age of 23 to bring a civil lawsuit against alleged child sexual abusers or the case will not be heard. Clearly, that isn’t enough time for traumatized victims to come forward.

During these stops, Dave speaks with other victims of childhood sexual abuse in an effort to comfort and consult them. He will also do his best to educate them and those who care for them about the fight for SOL Reform.

Dave Ohlmuller began his journey as a Peloton of One. But at the end of his tour, he amassed a support group that is thousands of miles long, all with a spirit as indomitable as his own.
